++ Monroe 911220 Reflex Light Truck Shock Absorber
First, kudos to Amazon. The shocks arrived in 3 days even though I used Super Save free shipping. The price was significantly less than local sources and competing online vendors. Now as to the Reflex Shocks… they are a good shock for the money (even if you pay the prices found on other sites). Are they a specialty shock for heavy off-road and jacked up trucks… No. But for a truck that is mostly on county roads/highways but with some washboard/pothole gravel driving every day, they are great. I admit, the old ones on my 4×4 Dakota were basically shot so the improvement was dramatic on both the gravel and hard surface. Fairly easy to install, even for a shade tree mechanic… but that is mostly due to the truck design. The Reflex seem a bit heavier duty than the original equipment shocks.
